Day 87 - Heading Home

Lava tunnel
Group photo before we left
Had breakfast like normal, then waved goodbye to the rest of the group as they panga'ed off for their morning adventure.  We waited around for half-an-hour then caught our own panga to the shore and caught a taxi to the airport.

Once at the airport we did the usual things -- snacking, buying souvenirs, and finishing our journals.  From there we took a flight back to mainland Ecuador and had 10 long hours to kill.

Since we had a bit of time before our flight, we had our taxi driver stop at a couple sights on the way.  El Mirador de los Túneles is a partially collapsed lava tunnel, and Los Gemelos is a pair of volcanic depressions.  Both were pretty neat, and quick, sites to see!
